Fundraising and course promotions for St Lucy’s
StarScribe productions has had a long relationship with St Lucy’s School. Since 2006 St Lucy’s projects have included the initial fundraising film for the Creative Arts Centre, various event videos and a promotional video for their Aim High program.
Creative Arts Centre fundraising video
In 2006 we were approached by St Lucy’s to produce a fundraising film for their Creative Arts Centre. The film was to introduce the school, describe the project but – more importantly – show how the completion of this project would improve the day-to-day schooling experience of St Lucy’s intellectually-impaired students.
It was screened at the offices of selected corporate donors as well as fundraising events prior to sponsorship discussion, with a view to raising $10 million. The film offered a mix of information, emotion and most importantly, the inimitable, heartwarming personality of St.Lucy’s amazing children. And it worked. St Lucy’s students moved into their brand new Creative Arts Centre in 2009.

St Lucy’s Aim High program promotion
St Lucy’s also needed to introduce their Aim High program to parents and teachers of special needs students preparing for High School and beyond. We interviewed the principals, teachers, parents and the students themselves combined with footage of the children in the cafe, classroom and at play as they prepared for the future.
St Lucy’s Fundraising Dinner Video
When St Lucy’s annual fundraising dinner went Bollywood – they needed a video to show just before the live auction and inspire the guests to dig deep. It was a huge success.
